I have been following you through a mutual friend, Graeme Dunn, and enjoy the obvious sense of humour which matches his. The latest on "Holy God Chicken" made me want to find out more about you. This is a great site and, as a lapsed Church if Scotland member, was glad to see such a positive attitude in a Minister, More power to your elbow! (Knowing Graeme you may need it!)

Oops! I have to confess that, despite saving your website to favourites, I did finally really visit Scotland and didn't make it around to your part of it. Somehow wriggling around or through Glasgow or putting a car onto a car ferry was too daunting. Maybe another time. As we rather liked Scotland and, possibly, its' churches I'm sure there will be another time. I have observed that there are more sermons up and will take my time over them.

Just wanted to thank you for your wonderful website! I'm doing genealogy research long distance, so being able to view your churchyard plan online was a great help - sadly, I did not find my ancestors here, but it has helped me narrow down where they might be.

Many thanks to Rev Jones for conducting a very enjoyable service for the Kilbarchan Scout Group to help celebrate 100 years of scouting in Kilbarchan. His interaction with the boys is fantastic and makes it a pleasure to visit the church. Many comments also from the parents of the scouts saying how much they anjoyed the day. Thank you...Scott

I have been visiting the website so many times that I feel like a member.I have for 3 years been researching my 2xGreat grandfathers birth and life in Kilbarchan. Records seem to be lost as he was born between 1800-1810. in Kilbarcan. Have search the Kirkyard and transferred knowledge to Russel young about its inhabitants.Have research the official files of the government etc , but to no avail. All other family members are accounted for, only he is incomplete. I feel that the records of this church holds the key to my discovery and hopefully this will bear fruit. I have enjoyed each and every visit and admire the Spiritial work being done. Keep it up for your history is long and undaunted.

I see it's a year today since Willie's comment! Does that mean that it's the website's first birthday? Or (as I suspect) did Willie post a couple of days after on-air - in which case we missed it! Whatever - happy birthday, website! And thanks again, Mr. Webmaster!

I tried this earlier with no luck. It was a pleasure to meet Owain Jones in connection with Bobby Marshall's funeral. Thank you for his kindness to the Marshall family at that difficult time. I liked Jane's surfing sermons and suggest she try St. Andrew's Wesley Vancouver, BC. It is interesting to read Gary Paterson's comments on some of the films--especially if one has already seen them. Belated happy St. David's Day to Owain. Thank you to everyone in the congregation who was so kind to Jan.

More sermons coming shortly! As someone - I think it might have been Sydney Smith - said "The Sundays they do come with an awful regularity..." :(

Hello to the Guestbook page. I'm the sort of visitor a church can't see. I took myself on an internet holiday around Scotland (that is I never actually left home but looked via the net) and visited some of the web sites via the Church of Scotland to 'go to church' (without leaving home) whilst 'holidaying' and liked your sermon pages. So, I've visited again!... I've run out of sermons now...

Many thanks to the Hill Walking group for making me welcome on the 1st walk with the group. I've just started this so to have the company and fellowship of the group made the day all the more special. I hope to do more through the coming season so I'll be in touch
God Bless. Ian
