Hillwalking Club

The Hillwalking club was formed in 1987 and meets on a Saturday once a month – the dates vary but may be obtained from a syllabus produced each January, which also gives details of the walks we are going to attempt.   We usually have two week-ends away each year.

*  The Arran walk is the only one which does not leave from the Steeple at 8.00 am, but instead from Ardrossan Harbour, meeting at 9.30 am.


A syllabus giving further information regarding map numbers, grid references of the hills, etc is now available. Anyone wishing to join us will be made most welcome.


This is the 25th Anniversary of the club during which time we have seen about 25 members climb all the Munros
